As a Social Worker, I've been to several Assisted Living Facilities to visit hospice patients and it's not often I find one I would feel comfortable placing my own family member. The staff had several activities for the residents and I was impressed that all the residents seemed to participate, as much as they were able. The facility was clean and felt very much like a home. I was impressed also by the compassion, even by the volunteers.

The way memory care structure is intended, smaller is better. You will not find a better staff to resident ratio anywhere in this county. The facility is warm and inviting throughout building. The smell is clean it’s upkeep speaks for itself. I was taken back observing families and staff interacting in activity programs on weekends with residents, It truly warmed my heart. This is a constant, a thriving loving community.

The facility design concept is outstanding and limits patient census to about 20. This gives the place a small homey feeling rather than that of a big overbearing institution. Physical condition and cleanliness are maintained at the highest standard. The staff are meticulous with patient handling and dispensing of medications, and patient medical care is overseen by an experienced physician that comes in once a week. The residents have a well planned set of activities to keep them busy, with seasonal changes and decorations for holidays. Family members are encouraged to participate in activities and are always welcomed as visitors. Perhaps the most important thing is the genuine caring attitude of everybody … they have kept my wife heathy and happy, and have become like a second family to me. Thank you all.

"I am so happy to have found this place. We moved our mother here from an assisted living when her memory got too bad. What a difference and in a good way. The staff is so friendly and spend their day interacting with the residents by engaging them in games and activities for hours. The place is new and kept very clean. I really like that it is a smaller facility. Everybody gets personal attention. My mother is more alert and has adjusted extremely well. She has quit talking about going home. Maybe because she feels more at home in this facility."
