Patricia (Patti) Greenberg is one of the Co-Managers of Memory Lane Cottage, LLC which owns and operates the Memory Lane Cottage projects. She is also the President and Founder of National Healthcare Associates, Inc. (NHA), an independent consulting firm that works exclusively in the healthcare industry, with providers such as senior care facilities, hospitals, physicians and other related types of operations. The firm specializes in the planning, financing, regulatory matters, operations and development for the provision of healthcare services. Since forming NHA in 1991, Ms. Greenberg has actively participated in the planning, funding, development and operations of the full continuum of senior care facilities for third parties and its own account. These have included congregate facilities, assisted living facilities, continuing care retirement communities, nursing homes, Alzheimer facilities and other related operations, such as hospice, home health and day care.
Prior to forming NHA, Ms. Greenberg was a Regional Director of Healthcare Consulting for an international consulting and accounting firm, based in Coral Gables, Florida. As the firm’s Regional Director, she provided a broad base of consulting services to hospitals, nursing homes, senior care communities and other healthcare providers. Ms. Greenberg’s consulting career within the international firms spanned seven years. Prior to this consulting career, she worked in the areas of planning and finance for a specialty hospital.
Currently, Ms. Greenberg devotes much of her time to project planning and development, including conducting market analyses and needs assessments, site and community selection, program design, developing marketing strategies, preparing financial projections and forecasts and providing operational assistance for the successful implementation and day to day operation of senior care communities. In addition to providing these services for clients (third parties), NHA also provides these services and funding for senior facilities which it owns and operates for its own account. Through its sister company, NHA Management Services, Inc., NHA provides full service pre-opening and operational management services for senior facilities. Ms. Greenberg also serves as President of this entity. Additionally, Ms. Greenberg serves as the managing member and/or general partner for each of the owned and operated assisted living facilities, providing asset management services in addition to operational management services through NHA Management.
Ms. Greenberg holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Finance from Boston University and Masters in Health Administration from Columbia University. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), previously serving on its Regents Advisory Council, and affiliated with Healthcare Financial Management Association (Advanced Member), Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA), American Hospital Association and previously served as the Southeast Region Vice President for the National Association for Senior Living Industries (NASLI) prior to its consolidation into ALFA. She also serves on the Board of the South Florida Hospital and Healthcare Association.
